What is a stump fiddle? It melds percussion and string instruments; it is in no way a fiddle. Most commonly, the homemade instrument consists of bells, door springs, and a pie tin. We will follow the workshop with a concert featuring the Stanfield Family singers. Please join us for an afternoon of fun, creativity, and music as we make our own Stump Fiddles and simple percussion instruments.
$25 Stump Fiddle kits for purchase. Free Percussion Instruments to make. The concert is free as well, so come on down to the Amphitheater!
All programs require a Wisconsin State Park entrance sticker or daily entrance fee.
