Solar Viewing at Bong

Saturday, June 6th

1:00 – 3:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon viewing the Sun and learning about it and our Solar system. From 1-3 PM we will be near the entrance to the NEC and Urban Pond for an interesting and fun afternoon.

This is also “DNR Free Fun Weekend” at all Wisconsin state parks. You don’t need a park admission sticker and can fish and use the trails for free. There will be lots of other activities going on that weekend, so come out and enjoy nature!

Please note that this event is outside and weather dependent. Dress for possible cold temperatures with multiple layers of clothing for warmth as temperatures can change quickly this time of year. This event may be cancelled because of inclement weather which includes rain, significant cloud cover, or extreme temperatures.

Just a reminder that you do not need a trail pass, fishing license or a Wisconsin State Park entrance sticker or daily entrance sticker on June 6th & June 7th!
