BNA Presents:  Wildlife in Need Center – Animals Are Tough!!!

Saturday, November 14th

Time:  1:00 – 2:30 pm

Location:  Visitor’s Center

Please join us for this special visit with the Wildlife in Need Center (WINC)* educators.

    • Explore the importance of shells, color, talons, teeth, and musk.
    • Meet some native animals to learn how wildlife have adapted to live in their various Wisconsin habitats.

This is an engaging and informative experience!

BNA is able to offer this special program through receipt of the 2026 Kenosha Community Foundation, Creativity by Kids, grant award as well as through BNA funding.  BNA extends our deepest appreciation to the Kenosha Community Foundation for this generous grant award.

*The Wildlife in Need Center (WINC,) located in Oconomowoc, is run primarily by volunteers and a very small staff, operating 365 days a year. WINC receives no county, state, or federal funding. WINC operates entirely through fundraising efforts along with the generosity of passionate donors, but also from corporate foundations and private foundation grants.

“Wildlife rehabilitation is the treatment and care of injured, diseased, or orphaned Native wildlife, and the subsequent return of healthy viable animals to appropriate habitats in the wild. At the Wildlife In Need Center (WINC) we answer over 10,000 phone calls from people asking for advice or help with wildlife issues and admit approximately 3,000 animals annually. We also conduct educational programs in schools and for scout, church, and civic groups.
