DESCRIPTION:  \nBuckthorn Removal Volunteer Day at RBSRA!!! \nSunday\, May 17th \n1:00 – 3:00 pm \n  \n  \nCome help the Bong Naturalist Association (BNA) clear Buckthorn from around the Richard Bong State Recreation Area (RBSRA) Visitor Center on Sunday May 17th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. \nNear the Bong Visitor Center we have some beautiful\, mature hardwood trees. Unfortunately\, underneath these trees\, Buckthorn has moved in! \nWill you help us make this park area more appealing?  The park staff cannot do a prescribed burn here as it is too close to buildings so it has to be done manually. \n\n\n\nBe sure to wear long pants\, a long sleeve shirt and sturdy shoes.
