DESCRIPTION:Courtesy Tom Harper\n  \nDue to Saturday’s weather conditions\, this is event has been cancelled.  Thanks so much for your understanding!   \nAstronomy Observation:   \nSolar Viewing (1 – 3 pm) & Star Gazing (5- 8 pm) \nSaturday\, November 29th \n  \nJoin us on Saturday\, November 29th\, to celebrate the sky at Richard Bong State Recreation Area! \n \n  \nBring your telescope or binoculars and learn from Tom Harper\, our volunteer astronomer\, how to focus and calibrate. \nView sun spots and solar flares\, through Tom’s special solar telescopes in the afternoon. \nPhoto Courtesy NASA\n  \nIn the evening\, discover the wonders of the ever changing night sky using your own or the powerful telescope that Tom sets up! \n1-3 p.m. Solar Observation\nMeet in the Nature Explore Classroom Parking Lot (Near Shelter 2). \n5 – 8 p.m. Night Sky\nMeet in Parking Lot F \nAll programs require a Wisconsin State Park entrance sticker or daily entrance fee. \n
