DESCRIPTION:Courtesy of Tom Harper\nWhat’s an Eclipse?  (1:00 – 3:00 pm) & Astronomy Viewing (6:30 – 8:30 pm) \nSaturday\, March 8th \n  \nWhat’s an Eclipse?  (1:00 – 3:00 pm) \nRichard Bong State Recreation Area’s (RBSRA) volunteer astronomer\, Tom Harper\, will lead a short program on what eclipses are and how they happen in preparation for the Lunar Eclipse on Friday\, March 14th. \nFollowing the program\, telescopes will be available to see the Moon and Sun.  Meet at Shelter 2\, or the Visitor Center in case of inclement weather. \n  \n \n  \nAstronomy Viewing!  (6:30 – 8:30 pm) \nRBSRA’s volunteer astronomer\, Tom Harper\, will be back tonight – in Parking Lot F with his telescopes – to lead an astronomy viewing program!  Stop by to expand your knowledge of the universe and take a peek through some special scopes. \nMeet at Parking Lot F.  Please note that the Astronomy Viewing portion of the program will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or over 30% cloud cover. \nJust a reminder that all events require a Wisconsin State Park entrance sticker or daily entrance fee.
